Yes, this is the only coffee shop/ bakery for miles. But even if it wasn't, this is the place you should go. The moment you enter, you will feel at home. Cozy seats, friendly and helpful staff serving freshly baked treats, soups, breads and REAL coffee and espresso from Ptiisburgh' La Prima. It's like an oasis in a desert of gas station coffee spots for miles! Custom cakes made and orders are taken for your special gatherings. They even offer discounts to students and UPMC Staff. I live in Los Angeles and travel to White Oak to visit my son and his family every few months. I really enjoy coming into Patti's almost every morning for coffee and scones. They do a great job and everything I've had here is tasty and fresh. Nice place to sit, sip coffee and relax.

We ordered all the desserts for a family function from Patti's, and each one was exquisite. This included an Almond Torte Cake, PB Chocolate Pie, Pumpkin Cupcakes, and Carrot Cake. The staff is super friendly and went out of their way to go above and beyond for us. I will definitely order from here again.

Patti's is GREAT! I love the place, it is warm and inviting! Pastries and Coffee to die for! Friendly staff too! If you are in the area stop in, the Challah bread is AMAZING and is available on Thursdays!

Took my husband with me this morning to investigate. To my surprise a genuine little coffee house and bakery. I quit coffee this past summer so I cant rate the espresso drinks. I did have a cup of decaf which was nothing exciting. Hubby said his reg coffee was better than average. I had a piece of cherry cheese struedel that was delicious. I'm from San Diego, Ca and I'll admit I have picky tastebuds. I was shocked to find the quality in this area.

I like to walk over to Patti's for a coffee. I wish that Patti's would open a little bit earlier in the morning so I could get a coffee on my way to work. I leave for work at 7:15 am and Patti's doesn't open until 8 am. Most places that serve coffee/latte/cappuccino open early to accommodate the coffee drinkers on their way to work. I'm sure I'm not the only one in White Oak who feels that way. My brother told me today that he stopped at Patti's one morning at 8 am and the door was locked and no one came to the door to let him in. Lost business for Patti's. My brother plans on getting his coffee elsewhere. The last two times I have been to Patti's, the person (same both times) who waited on me was distracted and not listening to my order or requests. The first time I wanted a dozen of cookies and I said I want three peanut butter and he started putting a whole dozen of peanut butter cookies in a box. Customer service is one of the things that brings in repeat business. The second time I came in, I asked to see the gluten free menu to place an order and I wanted to see the gluten free treats that are kept in the freezer. The gf treats were brought to the counter and I said I would take the cinnamon and one wholesome. I was given one banana and one wholesome. My order was rung up and he forgot that I wanted to place an order for some gf items. He started to look for the gf menu. He couldn't find it. He brought out the red binder that had the ingredients for the gf goods. He couldn't find the menu or order sheets for the gf items. He asked me if I wanted the menu emailed to me. I said that was fine but I wanted to look at the gf menu so I could place an order. I left without being able to place an order. Patti's lost what could have been a larger sale.
